Describe yourself in a sentence
Far too laid back.
What was the first WFC game you went to and what can you remember about it?
A 3-2 home win vs Southampton in 1999. David Perpetuini was the first player I saw score a goal live for the ‘Orns. Legend!
Finest ever WFC memory
Plenty to choose from, but it’s got to be Deeney’s goal vs Leicester in the play-off semi-final. Pure chaos.
Worst away trip and why
Selhurst Park is always a horrible experience. More recently though, a Thursday evening away trip to Tranmere for an FA Cup 3rd round replay sounded like a good idea at the time. The realisation that an additional 30 minutes of extra time was needed for Tranmere to score a winner was pretty horrendous.
WIFC playing highlight
Playing at the Vic is always special. As well as this, beating West Ham in the South East Cup Final this year was a great achievement too.
Favourite WIFC moment
My first Worldnet in 2019. It was a last minute decision from myself to go and I didn’t really know what to expect but I loved every minute of it. Even Ben Kelly’s questionable 00s hip-hop playlist on the car journey there couldn’t ruin the weekend.
All-time favourite Watford player
Heidar Helguson
All-time favourite Watford XI (not the best players – your favourites)
Ben Foster; Marco Cassetti, Neil Cox, Gabriele Angella, Lloyd Doyley; Etienne Capoue, John Eustace, Almen Abdi; Tommy Smith, Heidar Helguson, Troy Deeney.
Red shorts or black?
Black
Which actor would play you in ‘WIFC – The Movie’
Not a clue! If John-Joe O’Toole fancies an acting gig then the role is his.
